ABOUT US

ABOUT BRIDGE CHURCH

At our core, we love Jesus and we believe church should be a place where anyone can belong before they believe. Bridge Church exists to connect people to God and to one another, building bridges of hope, faith, and purpose in everyday life.

Founded in New York, Bridge Church was created with a simple vision: to help people cross from where they are to where God is calling them to be. We are a community of imperfect people pursuing a real relationship with Jesus, growing together, and learning how faith shows up in our homes, our work, and our city.

Through meaningful worship, practical teaching, and intentional outreach, Bridge Church is passionate about strengthening families, serving our neighbors, and creating spaces where lives are transformed. Our greatest joy is walking alongside people as they discover faith, take next steps, and experience lasting change.

Today, Bridge Church gathers both in person and online, reaching people across New York and beyond. No matter your background or story, there’s a place for you here.

OUR
BELIEFS

  • LOVE

We believe everything begins with love. We love God, and we love people. Love is not just what we say, it’s how we live, serve, and show up for others.

  • FAMILY

Family is more than who you’re related to. It’s the people you walk with through life. At Bridge Church, you don’t have to do life alone. We value real relationships, shared growth, and showing up for one another.

  • GENEROSITY

We believe generosity changes lives. Giving isn’t about what we receive, but about what we release. We give our time, our talents, and our resources to make a difference.

  • HONOR

We honor people because every person matters. Regardless of background, title, or story, we treat others with dignity, respect, and grace.

  • EXCELLENCE

We strive to do our best with what God has entrusted to us. Excellence is not about perfection, but about stewardship, care, and intention in everything we do.

  • SERVICE

We are here to serve. We believe faith is active, and love is demonstrated. We serve our church, our city, and one another with humility and compassion.

OUR MISSION

CONNECT PEOPLE TO GOD
AND TO ONE ANOTHER

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, given to humanity as truth, and is the final authority in matters of faith, life, and practice.
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in essence and purpose, working together in creation, redemption, and restoration.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, fully God and fully human. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, authoritative teaching, sacrificial death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to the Father, ongoing intercession, and His promised return.
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, present and active in the world today. The Spirit convicts of sin, brings new life, transforms believers, and empowers the church for worship, service, and mission.
We believe all people are created in the image of God and deeply loved by Him. Because of sin, humanity is separated from God and in need of redemption and restoration.
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through His work on the cross, we are forgiven, made right with God, and transformed to live new lives marked by faith and obedience.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, united by faith in Jesus. The Church exists to worship God, build up believers, and share the message of hope with the world.
We believe God equips the Church with spiritual gifts and leadership to serve, teach, shepherd, and reach others. Every believer has a role in advancing God's purposes through service and love.
We believe God still heals today and responds to prayer. We believe in praying for healing and trusting God's power, wisdom, and compassion in every situation.
We believe generosity is an act of worship and obedience. We honor God by giving back a portion of what He has entrusted to us, supporting the mission of the Church and caring for others.
We believe in baptism by water as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, and in communion as a remembrance of His sacrifice and a celebration of new life in Him.
We believe the Church is called to share the message of Jesus and to serve the needs of the world—spiritually, emotionally, and practically—reflecting God's love in action.
We believe Jesus Christ will return at a time known only to God. His return gives believers hope and calls us to live faithfully, purposefully, and with expectation.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the fulfillment of God's eternal plan. Those who place their faith in Christ will experience eternal life in God's presence.
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, intended to reflect love, faithfulness, and commitment. Marriage is a lifelong union that provides companionship, support, and a foundation for family and community.
